Mahalo Nui Loa

Each year at the Chloé Byron Comp we get more and more great people donating prizes, helping out and generally contributing to a sensational day of community and surfing.

 

This year we had Global Surf Industries who distribute Webber, Walden-McTavish and NSP boards bring along a complete range for competitors to try.

 

Ben Wallace, Ben Harper and the Connolly family gave donated a McTavish custom Chloe Byron Fireball.

 

California’s Surfing Heritage Foundation donated  an original Endless Summer poster.

 

Dripping Wet were there with loads of boards and gear.

 

Grant Robilliard gave enough of his no boundaries wax that every competitor could not only do their board but their hair and car as well.

 

Derek O’Neill at Billabong kicked in  a boot-full of swag including signed Teahupoo Contest rashies, steamers, board-bags and too much other stuff to mention.

 

Surf Dive Ski contributed prize vouchers for the end of year presentation.

 

Pacific LongBoarder gave away a couple of subscriptions and also a heads up of the competition on their site.

 

Surfing legend Geoff Fanning gave us a heap of Noosa Longboard DVDs to sell and twisted Golden Breed‘s arm to provide more clothes than even Stan could wear in three days.
